Held in Doha, Qatar  May 8-11, 2015


Long Jump: Jerry Belibestre (98) 7.09m (silver 6.98m)


100m: Kayla Richardson (98) 11.78, Zion Nelson (98) 12.02 (Gold 11.91, Silver 12.19)

200m: Richardson (98) 24.01, Nelson (98) 24.15 (Silver 24.35)

400m: Nelson (98) 54.18 (Silver 55.78)

*please note Richardson and Nelson opted to play in the world youth champs instead so bypassed this meet.


Fresh off his 7.15m win at the Palarong Pambansa in Tagum. Jerry Belibestre and his hard working coach Miguel Arca had to leave early to catch a flight to Doha, Qatar via Manila. Jerry was the countries sole representative in Doha. After two Fil-Heritage opted to play at the World Youth Championships instead.

The duo’s mission in the Asian Youth led to the countries first medal at this meet and Jerry again improving his best performance to 7.26m with his” bronze medal effort. This was over the 7.25m standard for the world youth making Jerry the seventh athlete to qualify for World Youth Championships for the Philippines.
