ZPRAA 2016 Performance Evaluation

ZPRAA 2016

As to why the DEPED Official decided to make Roxas the host of the ZPRAA 2016 (Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletis Association) meet is clearly not a very well thought out choice.

We may have been the only province who decided to have our Palaro Qualifiers in a place with no rubberized oval, who actually had a rubberized oval (Dao, Sports Academy, in Zamboanga Del Sur available).

Below is the evaluation of my pre-game stats. This is the number of golds predictd to be won by Zamboanga Del Sur at the 2016 ZPRAA meet compared to the number they actually won.

Some athletes actually performed very well who were trying new events. Such as sprinters winning the Hurdles events and Big Jane a former sprinter winning Hurdles.

Original Predictions 40 of 63 golds Outcome 33 of 63 golds or 52%.

Overall Zambonga Del Sur took most of the medals at the ZPRAA 2016, combined with Zamboanga City they won around 85-90%, Dipolog and Zamboanga Del Norte and Pagadian and Isabella won the rest. With Sibugay and Dapitan not getting any.

The ZPRAA has 8 Teams

  1. Zamboanga Del Sur
  2. Pagadian City
  3. Zamboanga Sibugay
  4. Dapitan City
  5. Dipolog City
  6. Zamboanga Del Norte
  7. Isabella, Basilan
  8. Zamboanga City

Laylay was the only MVP in the team with 3 golds in the 100, 200 and 100 Hurdles.
