2017 PATAFA Weekly Relays Nov 26, REYMOND!!! Video Mens 400 Womens 200

Following on from the report on November 12. Until now PATAFA has not released 4 weeks

of official results November 5, 12, 19 and 26.

 

On November 19, most of the national athletes rested.

 

These are some selected (unofficial results) from November 26. The schedule was for 400m,

However, 100m and 200m events were held by the PATAFA for their national athletes.

 

REYMOND!!!!

Reymond

Reymond Alferos

The 400m was won by former national athlete Reymond Alferos in 49.13, from Ryan Bigyan

49.20. Alferos who is a student at Mapua coached by 2001/2003 SEA Games Champion

Ernie Candelario. Took the win this week. 2 Weeks ago he had opened with 50.03(4th place).

While Bigyan improved on his 49.98.

 

 

The 100m was won by National Champion Anfernee Lopena in 10.6ht/10.8et, Lopena had

ran 10.78 and 10.81 in his last 2 races.

 

However, in the 200m, 2013 SEA Games Champion Archand Bagsit held off Lopena. Bagsit

time has not been reported (Bagsit was 4th 2 weeks ago behind Jomar, Bigyan and Caido).

 

The Luzon and Zulueta Show

In the 100m it was reported a much closer race between Eloiza Luzon and the improving

Kimberly Zulueta. With the time being reported at 12.2 (unsure if electronic or hand timing).

 

A video of the 200m was provided and using Video Software times of 25.93 and 26.02 were

pulled off the video for the 2 Woman race between Eloiza Luzon and Kimberly Zulueta.

2017 Weekly Relays - Udtohan wins PATAFA 400 Trial (video)

After an absence of two months. The 2017 Weekly Relays returned to Phil Sports, Pasig this

morning on November 5, 2017. Due to lack of a venue, the PATAFA had no choice but to

postpone hosting the games. As the lights at Ultra were undergoing repairs.

 

2017 Weekly Relays: The Following Results were reported from the Men’s 400m

Jomar Udtohan 400m Trial

 

An early trial conducted by the PATAFA. In the Men’s 400m A Race. 100m specialist Jomar

Udtohan triumphed in 48.78. 400 Hurdler Medina was second in 49.06, and former national

athlete and National Champion Ryan Bigyan took third in 49.98. Ahead of 4×400 relay

members Mico Del Prado and Archand Bagsit. Jomar who usually runs the 100 skipped the

event to do an early season 400. As the 100 was directly before the 400 trial.

Lumapas

In the Women’s 400m, 17-year-old Palaro Champion Jessel Lumapas of Dasmarinas City had the fastest time in the Female Category. Winning the youth 400m in 58.0ht.

Furthermore, this was faster than the times of former national athlete Neslee Angco (UE)

(59.6). And national 400 Hurdlers Marilyn Avila (FEU) (1.00) and also Michelle Palmares

(UST) (1.01) in the Senior 400m.
