Batang Pinoy and PNG Dates (updated)

Social Networking

As per the PSC Websites. The Batang Pinoy and PNG will be held as straight finals.

The PNG according to the PSC Website will be temporary scheduled next May. But announcements about venue and technical rules are yet to be announced. There will be qualifying rounds same as last year with Top three progressing to finals.

The Batang Pinoy as per the PSC Website will be held as a straight final at Tagum, Davao Del Norte 27 November to December 2.

Interesting to note is the age limit for Batang Pinoy has been raised from 15 to 17 (born 1999) unlike previous four - five years. This is interesting as original purpose of Batang Pinoy is to provide a stepping stone for kids for the Palarong Pambansa e.g. 13 year old competing against 15, but now a 13 year old competes against a 17 year old. Now the age grading is exactly the same as the Milo and Palaro.

The PSC is having a consultative meeting so more details will follow by next week. Please check both websites for updates.

More Information to follow.
